HR DIRECTOR JOB POSTING: JUNE 2025
The City of Tybee Island, GA is seeking an experienced human resources professional to join the leadership team. Reporting directly to the City Manager, the HR Director supports a team-based employment culture across all City departments, drives strategic policy and HR direction, and manages the administration of critical HR functions. Overseeing compensation & benefits, training and development, employee engagement, recruiting & onboarding, and HR compliance & administration, the HR Director supervises one HR Generalist and supports a workforce of 130+ employees. The HR Director serves as confidential counsel and trusted HR resource to all Department Heads, City leaders, and employees, ensuring open, two-way communication across the City that fosters a positive work environment.
